Bolts win 10th in a row

The Chargers completely dismantled the hot Titans on Christmas night. With the victory, the Chargers clinched the number 2 seed in the AFC for the playoffs, guaranteeing them a first round bye. Philip Rivers is undefeated in his career in the month of December. Hats off to the Titans who were eliminated from playoff contention with the loss. For a team that started 0-6, they battled back valiantly behind Vince Young and Chris Johnson and with a win next week they'll have a chance to finish the season at .500, which no one thought would have been possible 10 weeks ago. Chris Johnson, the NFL's leading rusher, gained another 142 yards on the ground last night and is only 118 yards away from being only the 6th player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 in a season. Eric Dickerson's all-time single season record is 234 yards away so that appears to be safe, but anything is possible.
