Holmgren Hired to Revive Browns
It was announced today that Mike Holmgren has been hired to be the new team President of the Cleveland Browns. Holmgren, the former coach/GM of the Packers and Seahawks, has been hired in a Bill Parcells-type role to rebuild this once proud franchise. Unfortunately, he doesn't have much to work with except for a high draft pick in 2010. They need to first decide if Brady Quinn will be their QB of the future. Then they will need to surround him with weapons at ALL skill positions. After trading Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow, their skill positions lack playmakers. Their lone bright spot, WR/KR Joshua Cribbs wants a new deal. We won't even talk about the defense, which ranks in the bottom 5 in every major category. Mike Holmgren will need to work a miracle in order to make the "Dawg Pound" proud.
